KommWohnen Görlitz GmbH in a fullfillment of their Association Agreement.
(§2 Association Agreement from 21.12.1990/16.03.2004/19.06.2014)
(1) The purpose of the association is:
1. As a matter of priority, responsible to provide of housing for a broad social layer
• Development of housing offer
• City development / revitalization of the city center
• Supporting and promoting the immigration to the city in the context of customer acquisition from the area of Görlitz but also throught Germany
• Providing of accommodation for refugees or asylum seekers.
2. To provide a support for infrastructure and construction, acquisition and management of business infrastructure facilities.

- Day nursery at Lindenweg
- After school care center at Berliner Straße
- Parking places at Heilige-Grab-Straße
- Furnished apartments for employers in Görlitz
- Parking facilities at Konsulstraße 19
- Port Berzdorfer See
- Parking facilities at Bergstraße 6a
- Tourism: expanding the accommodation offer through the temporary use of unoccupied apartments
- Support and sponsorship of sports and cultural events
- Support for cultural institutions (City Hall Foundation)
3. To carry out an urban development and measures for redevelopment
- Demoliton of useless und unnesecary apartments
- Sustainable renovation of characteristic buildings that shaping the urban landscape as part of the revitalisation of the city centre
- Provision of free access to Villa Ephraim for visitors
(2) So far as it is necessary for the fullfillment of the purposes that are setted out in the first subparagraph, the association may:
1. To purchase, rent, lease, sell, manage, operate and construct in all legal forms and forms of use, the private family homes and ownership apartments
2. To purchase, rent, lease, restructure, develop, manage and transfer lands in all legal forms and for all types of use
3. Provision of social and civic facilities, shops, commercial buildings, economic, social and cultural facilities and services.
(3) The company is entitled to all measures and transactions through which the purpose of the company can be directly and indirectly reached. The company is entitled to cooperate with other companies in the fullfillment of its duties.
(4) KommWohnen Görlitz GmbH uses its two subsidiaries companies: KommWohnen Service GmbH and KommWohnen Dienste GmbH to fulfil its tasks and achieve the aims of the company.
1. The KommWohnen Service GmbH’s purpose is:
- To provide real estate services, especially for KommWohnen Görlitz GmbH and the city of Görlitz

To support of KommWohnen Görlitz GmbH in its corporate purpose
- Taking over information, coordination and advisory activities.
2. The KommWohnen Dienste GmbH’s purpose is:
- To provide services for KommWohnen group of companies
- To support of KommWohnen Görlitz GmbH in its corporate purpose
- Taking over information, coordination and advisory activities as well as execution of tasks in the field of property management, measurement services, etc.
