The effect came faster than expected. Only two months after the final approval of all boats for Lake Berzdorfer, the port of Görlitz is almost fully booked. 85 berths are currently permanently assigned – it’s a new record. Ten more places are registered.
As expected, among the new users there are many motorboat owners. A few remaining berths are not rented to allow weekend guests to moor their boat.
To be able to offer some additional capacity, there are now ten new piers on the southern shore of the harbour basin. It is quite possible that more will be added in the future.
